On the way to the beach

Hop on a tram to Glenelg and Holdfast Bay, where you can people watch from the terrace of a cafe Jetty Road. Stroll the shops, dive beneath the waves or relax on the white sand beach. From here you can go swimming with dolphins or take a tour breathtaking on a jet boat. Learn about the history of the region at the center of discovery of the municipality of Glenelg or along the walking trails Trail Federation and Proclamation Trail. Take a picnic with stunning sea views, follow the Aboriginal track Tjilbruke Trail and visit the historic home of Kingston House in the coastal reserve of Kingston Park. Stroll along the esplanade to the seaside village of Brighton, then take a bus to Port Adelaide. Spend the afternoon exploring the museums, trendy stores and the historic streets of the maritime heart of the city. End the day on the seaside in Henley. Dine in one of the cheap ethnic restaurants on Henley Road and watch play music groups in the square of Henley Square in summer.
