Caiguna of Madura

Posted by Travel

You can do the 4x4 north to Rawlinna, a small train station where does the Indian-Pacific twice a week. You can also learn how to gather the herds on the vast ranch sheep; or simply admire the local ranchers demonstrate their horsemanship horseback or bull at the rodeo great Nullarbor Muster in mid-April. Since Balladonia, another track for 4x4 takes you 200km south to the white beaches and granite outcrops of Cape Arid National Park. Continuing eastward from Balladonia you will pass Afghan Rocks (Afghan rocks), which is named after the camel driver who was killed by thirsty travelers to unwashed in an uncontaminated water hole. You can see his grave before driving to Balladonia Homestead, a property built in 1889 that now houses an art gallery describing the history of the region. You walk along the road Ninety Mile Straight, one of the routes online the longest straight in the world (147 km). This line ends at Caiguna, where you can choose between roadhouse, motel or campsite to sleep.
